Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. Most Irish shops don’t wait that long: Decathlon, Emma and plenty of others already have Black Friday prices online. This guide covers how to tell a real deal from a fake one, and the early deals we’ve already checked.
Updated 8 November 2026. We’ll keep adding deals as we check them.
Key dates
- Now: early Black Friday sales at many Irish shops, including Decathlon (from 2 November) and Emma (until 30 November).
- Friday 27 November 2026: Black Friday.
- Monday 30 November 2026: Cyber Monday. Emma’s sale ends the same day.
- Early December: last safe order dates for Christmas delivery. Check each shop’s delivery page.
How to tell if a Black Friday deal is real
Look for the 30-day lowest price
Under EU rules, when a shop in Ireland advertises a price reduction, the “was” price has to be the lowest price it charged in the 30 days before the discount. Decathlon shows this on every product (“Lowest price in 30 days before the discount”). If a shop only shows a crossed-out price with no explanation, treat it with care.
Compare with another Irish shop
A big percentage off means nothing if another shop sells it for the same price every day. Before you buy, check one or two other Irish shops. We do this for every deal on DealDepot and list the prices we found, with the date.
Be careful with RRP
RRP is the price the brand suggests, not what shops actually charge. Some products are almost never sold at RRP, so “40% off RRP” can be the normal price. Where we show an RRP, we say where it came from.
Count delivery and returns
Add delivery to the price, and check the return window. Many shops extend returns over Christmas, but not all. Large items like mattresses and treadmills can be expensive to send back unless the shop offers free returns.
