Music gifts are some of the easiest to get right: a first guitar for someone who keeps saying they want to learn, headphones for the person who always has music on, or a speaker for the kitchen. Here are the music gifts currently on offer that we’ve listed on DealDepot, with links to today’s price.
We haven’t tested these products ourselves. Our picks are based on independent reviews (linked on each product page) and the manufacturers’ specifications. Prices change often, so each product links to today’s price.

- Best noise cancelling headphones: Bose QuietComfort SC.
- For bass lovers: Sony ULT WEAR.

For someone learning an instrument
The Fender CD-60 is one of Fender’s best-known beginner acoustics: full size, with a comfortable neck. It has a laminated top, so it won’t have the richer sound of a solid-top guitar, but it’s a sensible first guitar. Budget a few euro extra for a clip-on tuner, a strap and spare strings, and check whether the person would be happier with a smaller guitar if they’re a younger child.

Fender CD-60 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar (Black)
Best for: Beginners and returning players
The CD-60 is one of Fender’s best-known beginner acoustics: a full-size dreadnought with a laminated spruce top and mahogany back and sides, and a comfortable neck with rolled edges. Reviewers rate it as a strong-value guitar to learn on, though it doesn’t have the richer tone of solid-top guitars like the CD-60S.
What we like
- Comfortable neck with rolled fingerboard edges
- Full-size dreadnought with plenty of volume
- Comes with a free trial of Fender Play lessons
- 2-year Fender warranty
Watch out for
- Laminated top, so less rich and dynamic than solid-top guitars
- No pickup for amplification
- Dreadnought body can feel big for smaller players

Headphones and earbuds
For long flights, buses and open-plan offices, noise cancelling makes the biggest difference: the Bose QuietComfort SC is the one to pick if comfort matters most. The Sony ULT WEAR suits people who like big bass. For the gym or commuting, earbuds are easier to carry: the Galaxy Buds4 pair best with Samsung phones, and the Sony WF-C510 is a smaller, cheaper gift.
