Emma’s Black Friday sale is already running in Ireland, with up to 50% off its Original range. The three mattresses look similar on the website, so this guide sets out what you actually get with the Original Lite, Original+ and Original Pro, and which one is the best value at the sale prices.
Prices checked on emma-sleep.ie on 8 November 2026 and include VAT. Emma says the sale ends on 30 November 2026. Prices change, so confirm the final price at checkout.
The short version
- Tightest budget: the Original Lite, from €239.20 for a Single. Only 20% off, but it’s the cheapest way into an Emma mattress.
- Best value right now: the Original Pro. At 50% off, a Double is €744.50, only about €129 more than the Original+ Double, for a deeper mattress with 7-zone springs.
- Middle ground: the Original+, with a cooling CoolTec cover, €615.30 for a Double.
- All three: 200-night trial, 10-year guarantee and free delivery and returns in Ireland.

Which Emma mattress should you buy?
Emma Original Lite
The Lite is the simplest of the three: 22cm deep with 3-zone pocket springs and breathable foam. It suits a spare room, a child’s bed or anyone who just needs a decent mattress for less. The Black Friday discount is the smallest here (20%), so there’s less reason to rush.
Emma Original+
The Original+ is Emma’s bestseller: 25cm deep with 5-zone pocket springs, MemoryAdapt foam and a CoolTec cover that’s designed to help you stay cooler. At 30% off it’s €615.30 for a Double. Until 9 November 2026 Emma adds a free Comfort Cooling Pillow.
Emma Original Pro
The Original Pro is the deepest at 27cm, with 7-zone pocket springs, ThermoSync foam and improved edge support. Normally it costs much more than the Original+, but at 50% off the gap shrinks to about €129 for a Double. If you were going to buy the Original+, the Pro is worth a look. Emma says it’s Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2026. See our Original Pro deal.

Is the Emma Black Friday sale a real deal?
Emma runs sales for much of the year, so the full price is rarely what people pay. Rather than focusing on the “50% off” label, compare the sale price with what you’d spend on a similar hybrid mattress elsewhere. Emma’s strongest points are the 200-night trial and free returns, which take most of the risk out of buying a mattress online.
Tips before you buy
- Measure your bed frame. Irish and UK sizes differ from European ones: an Irish Double is 135x190cm and a King is 150x200cm.
- Check the depth. The Pro is 27cm, so you may need deep fitted sheets.
- Read the trial terms on Emma’s site before you buy, so you know how returns work.
- Ask about old mattress removal. Emma offers it with Comfort Delivery; the price shows at checkout.
- Black Friday is on 27 November 2026. See our Black Friday Ireland guide for other deals we’ve checked.
We earn a commission if you buy through our Emma links, at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change which mattress we recommend.
