These terms explain the rules for using DealDepot.ie (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

DealDepot.ie is operated by Edgars Keiselis, a sole trader based in Ireland, trading as DealDepot.ie (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our postal address is 3 Belfry Downs, Dublin 24, D24 TD72, Ireland. You can contact us at hello@dealdepot.ie.

2. What DealDepot.ie does

DealDepot.ie is an information website. We publish deals, product information, buying guides and comparisons for products sold by third-party retailers such as Amazon.ie and other online shops (“retailers”).

• We do not sell products, take payments, process orders, deliver goods or handle returns.
• When you click a link and buy something, your contract is with the retailer, not with us. The retailer’s terms, delivery, returns and privacy policies apply.
• Questions about an order, delivery, refund, warranty or a faulty product must go to the retailer you bought from.
• We choose retailers we believe are reputable, but we don’t audit them or check their financial stability, and we can’t guarantee that a retailer will deliver, honour a price or stay in business.

3. Affiliate links and how we earn money

Many links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or an affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked on the site.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also take part in other affiliate programmes, such as Awin. Earning a commission does not change the price you pay. Commission never decides which deals we list, how we score products or what we say about them, and retailers do not pay us for good reviews. 4. Prices, deals and product information

• Prices and availability change often, sometimes within minutes, and deals can end without notice. The price and terms shown on the retailer’s website at the moment you buy are the ones that apply.
• Where we show a date such as “Price checked”, the information was correct when we checked it, but may have changed since.
• A crossed-out or “was” price may be the retailer’s recommended retail price (RRP) or a previous selling price. We say which where we can. Always check the retailer’s page before you buy.
• Product details, specifications and images come from manufacturers, retailers and our own research. Some images on the site are illustrations, not photos of the actual product. We try to keep everything accurate, but we can’t guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
• If you spot a mistake, please tell us at hello@dealdepot.ie and we’ll fix it.

5. Reviews, opinions and buying guides

Our verdicts, scores, pros and cons and buying guides are our honest opinions, based on manufacturer information, independent expert reviews and feedback from buyers, which we credit on each page. Unless a page clearly says so, we have not tested the product ourselves. Our content is general information to help you compare products. It is not professional, financial or safety advice. Please read the manufacturer’s instructions and safety information before using any product.

6. Links to other websites

The site links to retailers and other third-party websites. We don’t control those websites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, availability, security or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on that website.

7. Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, republish or sell our content, deals data or design without our written permission, apart from sharing a link or a short quote with a link back to us;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the site in a way that puts unreasonable load on it;
• try to hack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
• use the site for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.

8. Messages you send us

If you send us a deal tip, comment or other message, you confirm it’s accurate and doesn’t break anyone’s rights, and you allow us to use it (for example, to add a deal to the site). We don’t have to publish anything you send.

9. Telegram, TikTok and other channels

We also share deals on channels run by other companies, such as Telegram and TikTok. These terms apply to our posts there too, and those platforms’ own rules and privacy policies also apply. You can leave or unfollow any time. If we run a giveaway or competition, it will have its own rules, published with it.

10. Intellectual property

The text, design, logo, illustrations and layout of DealDepot.ie belong to us or are used with permission. Product names, brands, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. DealDepot.ie is independent and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with the brands or retailers we feature, unless we clearly say so.

Linking to us: you’re welcome to link to any page of the site, as long as you do it fairly and don’t suggest we endorse you. Please don’t show our pages inside a frame on another website.

Copyright concerns: if you believe something on the site uses your copyright or trademark without permission, email hello@dealdepot.ie with the page link and details, and we’ll review it promptly and remove it if needed.

11. Availability of the site

We provide the site free of charge and “as is”. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice, and we don’t guarantee it will always be available or free from errors or viruses. Please use your own virus protection.

12. Our liability

• Because the site is free and we don’t sell products, we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your reliance on any information on it, or any purchase you make from a retailer, including products that are faulty, late, not as described, or priced differently from what we showed.
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, data or opportunity.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Privacy and cookies

How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. If you misuse the site

If you break these terms, for example by scraping or attacking the site, we may block your access, and you will be responsible for any loss or cost your breach causes us, to the extent the law allows.

16. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you have a complaint about the site, please email hello@dealdepot.ie. We aim to reply within 14 days and will try to sort it out fairly. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also bring a claim in your own country’s courts.

17. General

• If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies.
• If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site.
